Marco Minelli completed the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 2015 and 2018 respectively, and he has been a Visiting Researcher at the Institute École Polytechnique de Montréal, Montréal (Canada) in 2017. He received the Ph.D. degree in Industrial Innovation Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 2022, during which he worked on developing Advanced Control Strategies for Surgical Robotics.
Marco is currently a Post-doc Researcher at the Department of Sciences and Methods for Engineering, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, and his research activities focus on the development of Dynamic-Based Control Strategy for Manipulators whose Motion need to be Constrained, and Reactive Motion Planners embedding Human-Safety Features for Collaborative and Surgical Robots.
Since 2023 He also work as a Freelance Engineer in the Design, Development and Implementation of Automatic and Semi-Automatic Systems for the Assembly and Quality Control of Hydraulic Components.
