Davide Ferrari is a PhD student at the Department of Sciences and Methods for Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2017 and his master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering at the same institute in 2020.
His research interests primarily focus on human-robot communication within the context of human-robot collaboration, aiming to develop various communication channels such as vocal or gestural communication. Subsequently, he specializes in machine learning and reinforcement learning applied to the multimodal fusion of communication channels and their integration with safety.
