Biography

Filippo Favali received his BSc and MSc degrees in Mechatronic Engineering, respectively, in 2021 and 2023, from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He is a former member of Kings College London’s Social AI and Robotics (SAIR) Laboratory.

Filippo is currently working as a research fellow at the UNIMORE’s ARS Control Lab, where he pursues research in non-verbal social behavior and automated and natural language-driven reasoning with a strong focus on socially acceptable embodied AI.
