ARS Control
Automation, Robotics and System Control
Located at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, ARS Control is a research group that focuses on the application of control theory, robotics, and automation.
The group has been active since 2001 within the Department of Engineering Sciences and Methods at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
A key aspect of ARS Control group’s research lies in its commitment to building strong connections between industry and academia , seeking to establish solid collaborations to address real technical problems faced by applied engineering in the industry using innovative methodologies and solutions from academia.
The ARS Control group is also dedicated to educating students in the faculty’s courses in the field of control systems theory and applications at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Reggio Emilia campus), with the goal of disseminating the fundamental theory of Automatic Control and integrating it with the knowledge gained through applied research with businesses.
