Research Topics

Field robotics: Development of a multi-robot system for monitoring a vineyard, consisting of a mobile robot and a UAV. In particular, the first one moves through the vines to detect and count the bunches, while the latter flies above the vineyard for a global monitoring.

Human-robot Cooperation: Development of a navigation algorithm based on Danger Field for Human-robot Collaboration.

Master Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a thesis in Mobile Robotics titled "Cooperazione sicura uomo-robot in un compito di montaggio e trasporto ruote mediante Danger Field ("Safe Human-robot cooperation in a loading task by Danger Field") developed within the ARSControl group.

 

December 2013

Bachelor Degree (Laurea Triennale) in Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a thesis titled "Sviluppo di un sistema di navigazione autonomo per un quadrirotore" ("Development of an autonomous navigation system for a quadrotor"), developed within the ARSControl group.
